Bayview Park Hotel Manila had worked with members of our team for years before OLWC. That established relationship gave us an understanding of the hotel’s operations, guests, and approach to hospitality.

We developed and hosted its website around a practical objective: help visitors recognize the value of staying at Bayview and make direct booking convenient.

The approach connected promotional offers with useful accommodation information, supported by the hotel’s long history and the experiences shared by its guests.

Project Challenges

Familiarity with the hotel made it easier to align the website with the client’s needs.

The greater commercial challenge was rate disparity with online travel agencies. When an OTA displayed a lower price, the official website needed a clear explanation of its booking benefits, supported by competitive rates.

Our work focused on strengthening the direct booking journey. Rate alignment remained an important part of the hotel’s ambition to make its website a leading online sales channel.

Project Objectives

Our goal was to help guests quickly understand what Bayview offered, find accommodation suited to their stay, and check current rates through the booking engine.

We also wanted the website to serve the hotel’s different audiences, including leisure travelers, business guests, and people planning meetings or celebrations.

Our Approach

1. Making Promotional Value Easy to Recognize

We gave promotions strong visibility so visitors could quickly understand the benefits available when booking directly.

Offers paired clear headlines with inclusions and a booking action. This helped answer a guest’s early question: What makes this offer worthwhile for my stay?

“The website needed to make the value of booking directly easy to understand.”

2. Building Trust Through History and Guest Experiences

We used the hotel’s 75 years of hospitality message to introduce its established presence in Manila.

Guest reviews added a more personal perspective. They helped visitors picture the stay through experiences involving the location, service, and convenience of reaching nearby destinations.

Together, these sections connected the hotel’s history with the practical reasons different guests choose it.

3. Connecting Room Choices With Current Rates

The Rooms & Suites section brings photographs, short descriptions, guest capacity, and floor area together.

Room sizes help visitors compare their options before entering the booking engine. The room links then take guests directly to the relevant accommodation, where they can browse current rates and availability.

This gives visitors useful information on the website while keeping the next step connected to the live booking system.

4. Keeping Booking and Translation Within Reach

We placed Book Now access throughout the browsing experience so guests could check rates when they felt ready.

At the client’s request, we also provided a floating translation control, keeping the hotel’s customers and their language preferences in mind.

These details supported a more convenient experience as visitors moved between accommodation, offers, and practical hotel information.

5. Supporting Visits Beyond an Overnight Stay

The website includes dedicated pages for meetings and events, facilities, and the photo gallery.

These pages give prospective guests and event planners room to explore information relevant to their visit. Clearly labeled gallery photographs also help visitors understand which spaces and facilities they are viewing.

6. Turning the Footer Into a Useful Hotel Snapshot

We designed the footer to provide a final overview of the property, bringing together contact information, navigation, recognition, and another booking opportunity.

The Why Book Direct section reinforces the benefits of dealing with the hotel, including rate value, flexibility, and direct customer support.

This supported the commercial goal of encouraging direct reservations and reducing reliance on OTA bookings carrying commission costs in the 17%–25% range, depending on the arrangement.

“Each part of the page gave guests another opportunity to understand the hotel and continue toward a direct reservation.”

The footer combines a hotel overview with practical links and direct-booking benefits.

The Outcome

During the first year following launch, from September 10, 2025 to September 10, 2026, the website recorded:

  • 187k+ pageviews
  • 66k+ sessions
  • 48k+ users

These figures describe website activity during the reporting period.

For Bayview Park Hotel Manila, the completed work provided a developed and hosted website that connected the hotel’s identity with promotional value, useful room information, and convenient access to direct reservations.

The strategy gave the hotel a clearer platform for developing its direct sales channel, while OTA rate disparity remained an ongoing commercial consideration.
