Oceans Edge Resort offers a quieter island escape on Carabao Island in San Jose, Romblon, with ocean-view villas, an infinity pool, and a private sandy beach cove. Its website needed to communicate that experience while helping prospective guests understand their accommodation options and plan their stay.

OLWC redesigned the website around that journey, bringing the resort overview, villa information, direct booking offers, activities, and contact details into one connected page.

Project Challenges

The previous website introduced Oceans Edge Resort through separate pages for the resort, villas, dining, wellness, gallery, and contact information. It contained useful photography and descriptions, but guests had to move between pages to build a fuller picture of their stay.

The opportunity was to organize that information around the questions guests ask before booking: Where is the resort? How do we get there? Which villa fits our group? What is included? Where can we check the available rates?

We also needed to give practical information a stronger place alongside the resort’s visual appeal.

Project Objectives

Our goal was to create a welcoming website that reflects Oceans Edge Resort’s island setting and supports a clear path toward direct reservations.

This meant presenting essential information earlier, making villa details easier to compare, highlighting direct booking benefits, and keeping directions and contact options within the same browsing experience.

Our Approach

1. Bringing the Guest Journey Together

We reorganized the main website into a single-page experience with defined sections for the resort overview, location, amenities, nearby attractions, villas, offers, activities, and contact information.

Section navigation lets visitors move directly to the information they need. The page also follows a natural sequence for someone discovering the property for the first time, moving from an introduction to accommodation choices and reservation options.

2. Refining the Resort’s Visual Identity

We built on Oceans Edge Resort’s existing logo and nature-inspired identity, using olive-green accents, light backgrounds, and a consistent treatment for cards, buttons, and information panels.

Large resort imagery introduces the setting, while headings, icons, and shorter text sections organize the practical details. This gives the photography space to establish the atmosphere without making guests search through long descriptions for essential information.

3. Making Villa Information More Useful

The previous villa page paired photographs with brief descriptions and room-rate buttons. We developed a structured villa slider that brings the room name, photographs, floor area, and guest capacity into one viewing area.

Base and maximum occupancy help couples, families, and small groups understand which accommodation may suit them. A nearby child-policy note adds information that can affect their room choice.

The main “View Rates & Photos” button connects the accommodation section to the resort’s booking engine.

4. Giving Direct Booking Offers a Clear Hierarchy

We positioned the offers beside the villa section so guests can consider accommodation and booking value together.

The main website-exclusive offer receives the strongest visual emphasis, with its inclusions and booking action grouped inside one card. The additional email-unlock offer appears as a smaller, secondary option below it.

This keeps the principal promotion easy to identify while giving guests another available benefit to explore.

5. Organizing the Island Experience

We brought activities into a consistent card carousel, pairing imagery with short descriptions of experiences around the resort and Carabao Island.

The section gives visitors a broader sense of how they could spend their stay, from island exploration and snorkeling to sunset viewing and time by the pool.

We also retained a clear availability notice for the wellness offering, helping distinguish an upcoming facility from experiences guests can currently enjoy.

6. Connecting Location, Directions, and Reservations

We redesigned the contact section around an embedded map and a matching information panel.

The map is paired with a directions button, while the resort’s address, contact options, and reservation link are grouped alongside it. Travel information also appears earlier in the page, giving guests context about the island before they reach the contact section.

These details give visitors practical next steps as they move from considering the resort to planning their arrival.

The Outcome

The redesigned Oceans Edge Resort website presents the property through a connected browsing experience, with accommodation, offers, activities, and travel information organized around the decisions guests make before booking.

The completed work includes a refreshed visual presentation, structured villa information, a clearer offer hierarchy, and prominent routes to rates, directions, and direct contact.

For Oceans Edge Resort, the website now serves as both an introduction to the island experience and a practical starting point for planning a stay.

OLWC has helped us improve the website we did not think of updating. Their process was direct to the point and just in time when we need to sell for the peak season.
